LancelotPrivacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Lancelot collects when you visit uselancelot.com or join the waitlist, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Oy Åminneviken Ab, Kanjoninkuja 2, 10410 Finland, business ID 3430981-5 ("Lancelot", "we", "us").

2. What we collect
Waitlist and demo requests. When you join the waitlist we store:
- your email address, and
- the time you signed up.
That is all. We do not store your IP address or user agent with the signup, and the signup form sets no cookies.
Language preference. If you choose a language with the switcher in the page header, we store your choice in a cookie named lang for one year, so the page opens in that language next time. It contains only the language code, no personal data, and is not used for tracking. If you do not use the switcher, no cookie is set; the page is then shown in your browser's preferred language, which is read from the request and not stored.
Analytics. We measure visits with Simple Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that uses no cookies and collects no personal data. It records aggregate page views and referrers, never identifies you, and does not track you across sites.
What we do not collect. The landing page has no accounts, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party trackers.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis

We do not send marketing mail. We use your email only to write to you about Lancelot opening and your demo request. We never sell your data or use it for profiling or automated decisions.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site, acting on our instructions:
- Web hosting and database: Hostinger, servers in Germany.
- Analytics: Simple Analytics (no personal data).
We have no other recipients. Your data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.
5. How long we keep it
Your email and signup time are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until the waitlist is closed and everyone on it has been notified, whichever comes first. Our host keeps weekly backups, so a removed entry can remain in a backup until that backup expires. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before). To remove yourself from the waitlist, email help@uselancelot.com and we will delete your row, normally within 30 days.
You can also complain to your national data protection authority. In Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
7. Security
The waitlist database is access-restricted and held on servers in Germany, and the site is served over HTTPS. We keep the amount of data we hold to the minimum above.
8. Children
The site is for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we will tell you before it applies.
